Here's the results for Week 25 of this season's competition. As you would expect, there's no movement in positioning in the table, but Steven moved slightly closer to Marty after he was top scorer of the week with 27 points compared to Marty's 20. The gap between the top 2 is now 27 points, so maybe it's not quite over just yet. Joanne scored well, bagging 24 points, while Neil also hit the 20-point mark and is now a single point off moving into three digits.

Joanne could possibly have had an extra point but her prediction for the Cardiff v West Brom was unclear and I hadn't noticed it until now:

Cardiff 212 West Brom

Here are the updated standings.

Week 25 scores:

1. Steven.............................27
2. Joanne.............................24
3. Marty..............................20
=. Neil.................................20
5. Hitman.............................19
6. David...............................17

Overall Standings:

1. Marty...............................517
2. Steven..............................490
3. Joanne.............................449
4. David...............................407
5. Stuart..............................293
6. Lea.................................286
7. Joe .................................275
8. Hitman.............................266
9. Neil.................................99

I hadn't noticed it until after the game, not sure how I even managed to put that score lol. I'm happy with the points I have though.

Here are the results for Weeks 26 and 27. Unbelievably they are almost identical! Only 4 people participated in each of the weeks and they were the same 4 people, the same person won each week by a considerable margin (with almost the same score), and the 2nd, 3rd and 4th placed scorers in each week got 23, 22 and 21 points in both weeks!

Marty's previously comfortable 27-point lead has been slashed to just 11 points after 2 fantastic weeks for Steven. He's scored 29 points in Week 26, and went one better in Week 27 with 30 points.

Week 26 scores:

1. Steven.............................29
2. David..............................23
3. Marty..............................22
4. Joanne.............................21

Week 27 scores:

1. Steven.............................30
2. Joanne.............................23
3. David...............................22
4. Marty...............................21

Overall Standings:

1. Marty...............................560
2. Steven..............................549
3. Joanne.............................493
4. David...............................452
5. Stuart..............................293
6. Lea.................................286
7. Joe .................................275
8. Hitman.............................266
9. Neil.................................99

I'm getting behind on the scores again! Here are the results for Week 28. I will try and get Week 29's done over the weekend.

For the fourth successive week, Steven was the top scorer. At one point, just a few weeks ago, Marty had a 30-40 point lead over Steven but that has almost been completely wiped out now with the gap down to just 4, yes FOUR, points! Steven scored 24 points, while Marty only got 17. His hopes of retaining his Predictions League crown don't look quite so comfortable now.

Hitman decided to have a go this week, and while he only got 14 points, it was enough to take him above Joe in the table.

Week 28 scores:

1. Steven.............................24
2. Joanne.............................22
3. David..............................18
4. Marty..............................17
5. Hitman.............................14

Overall Standings:

1. Marty...............................577
2. Steven..............................573
3. Joanne.............................515
4. David...............................470
5. Stuart..............................293
6. Lea.................................286
7. Hitman.............................280
8. Joe .................................275
9. Neil.................................99

I have also decided that this will be the last season that I will do the Predictions League, for two reasons: 1. I’m struggling to keep up with the scores every week and will have even less time to do them over the next year, and 2. There seems to be less interest in it and with only 4 people predicting regularly each week there isn’t much point continuing it.

Results for Weeks 29 and 30.

He has been threatening it for weeks, but it's finally happened - Steven has overtaken Marty to go top of the table, largely due to a fantastic week in Week 29 in which he scored a massive 44 points, which included him getting 11 scores spot on! Marty's score of 31, while that was still a very good score, wasn't enough to stop him from surrendering top spot. Marty managed to claw 2 points back the week after when he bagged 29 points compared to Steven's 27, but Steven now sits 7 points ahead of Marty.

Joanne has had a poor couple of weeks, which actually could see her third spot under threat. I scored 25 points more than her over the last 2 weeks (including the week's best score of 38 in Week 30) to move to within 20 points of her. However, as I type that, I realise I haven't predicted for Week 31, so maybe her 3rd spot isn't under threat after all.

Hitman has moved up to 5th after finally hitting the 300-point mark.

Week 29 scores:

1. Steven.............................44
2. Marty..............................31
3. David..............................27
4. Joanne.............................19

Week 30 scores:

1. David..............................38
2. Marty..............................29
3. Steven.............................27
4. Joanne.............................21
5. Hitman.............................20

Overall Standings:

1. Steven..............................644
2. Marty...............................637
3. Joanne.............................555
4. David...............................535
5. Hitman.............................300
6. Stuart..............................293
7. Lea.................................286
8. Joe .................................275
9. Neil.................................99

Results for Week 31.

Well, Steven's lead at the top lasted just one week. Marty scored 26 points to move back into 1st place, 5 points ahead of Steven after he only scored 14 points. I forgot to predict for the first time this season, so I score the same points as the lowest scorer, which was Steven.

Week 31 scores:

1. Marty..............................26
2. Joanne.............................19
3. Steven.............................14
=. David..............................14**

Overall Standings:

1. Marty...............................663
2. Steven..............................658
3. Joanne.............................574
4. David...............................549
5. Hitman.............................300
6. Stuart..............................293
7. Lea.................................286
8. Joe .................................275
9. Neil.................................99
