Not complaining or anything, so please don't think I am. But next year I will probably make some changes to the awards. I have a year to think about it, so I'll let you all know then.... if these ones are done by then.

What changes do you have in mind Dawn? I mean I think we need them quicker but don't really see what else is in NEED of a change - but change is usually a good thing.

who's getting angry i was just stating what i feel to be a fact, and neil and ste taking their time they were even longer under the previous regime.
besides theyre internet awards its just baffling that someone needs to leap in cos they cant have anyone else running them

Delays this year are 100% my fault, I took care of the voting part of it and didn't tally the votes for a loooooong time, then once they were all tallied I forwarded the results to Steven and he quickly got some other people involved and was ready to go on the presentation. I again dropped the ball as Kiki and I decided to go camping over the weekend, with the time difference weekends are really the only time Steven and I can get on MSN at the same time to do this thing, so please when making comments about the lenght of time it's taking please do not include Stevens name.

I also understand change and see the need for it from time to time, I would hope however that Steven and I would at least be included in any changes made to the results as we have been doing them for a while now.

Dude, as I mentioned to Steven, I've been slacking myself. I have a general idea of what to do, something always distracts me, whether it's good weather, something on TV, or whatever. Don't be so hard on yourself, even if stuff got accomplished on your end, at the very least I would be holding something up.

I hope we all get to know what the changes are. The awards became what they are now with the help of input from the posters. But yeah, I'm tired of voting in the same old categories.

To quote myself, I said "probably" make changes and "I have a year to think about it".

I don't know what the changes will be yet exactly and NO I won't be taking them over all by myself. But I'm thinking that the way the votes are tallied needs to be taken into consideration and the way/time frame they are presented re-evaluated. Like I implied, nothing has been decided yet and I won't make the decisions by myself. I rarely do.

We could maybe do with a few new categories for next year just to freshen it up a bit, but I don't think very much needs to be changed. The actual format of it works fine. The awards have often been around April or May when they were completed, so this year isn't all that much later than most years. It would be good to try and get it done a bit quicker next time. Maybe we could split the voting up, so two people were adding the votes up instead of just one being left with it all to do.

Like Neil said, with the time differences it's difficult for us both to be on msn at the same time. Hopefully we'll get it written very soon though. Two people have sent me their presentations for individual awards, so there are three more people still to send me theirs.

ive heard from a source ive won everything bar the mvp award and they dont want to reveal it cos the amount of traffic this board would get from people wanting to congratulate me would cause the board to crash AGAIN.....so theyve taken the last word thread hostage until we agree to share the awards that we won, of course the hitman has to put the feelings of his adoring public first and accept a few less awards to safeguard the future of the board, we are more than happy to do that.
