ahh so thats 2 boards you're responsible for ending...what with the cjmb king tourney claiming the old board as well!

Those threads for the King of the Board are still up on the last few pages in this forum. I just looked, and I thought they disappeared with the last crash.

Ah, yes the ill-fated aborted King of the Board tournament.

It's making a comeback in late May, folks.

I have too many memories to list though probably the majority of them happened before most of the posters here were members. I remember Bri with his scary codes. :( I also remember good times and chats with Mike and Tommy and Chris. I also remember all the silly goofy things we did, especially Kate's I Am Jeff Hardy. Of course my favourite memory is meeting my husband here even though I actually thought he was quite annoying at first.

Ha ha! THS used to be really good, but I haven't posted there in over a year now. It just got so boring.

greetings everyone. just looked at the board for the first time in a long while and came across this post. i didn't read it but i searched for my name. thanks liz. how are you? i think neil must have been talking about another ben.

looks like the board has been getting along alright the 6 years that i haven't been here. i see a few names i recognise. hope you're all well. by the way, i also posted as eon blue, if anyone is wondering who i am.

i moved to japan 3 years ago so i now live even further in the future. not many people own robots yet but toilets have a lot of buttons on them. i work in staging and worked at the wwe event here last year. saw our man chris backstage and thought about letting him know that i used to moderate his message board but it would have been a somewhat awkward and short conversation. i haven't watched wrestling for about 8 years, but still building the ring and sticking a bunch of tables, chairs and kendo sticks underneath it for the hardcore match was a pretty cool experience.

my favourite memories of the board are from when i first started posting in 2000. i would come home from school everyday to be entertained for a couple of hours by the overnight posts of all the americans, canadians and insomniac brits. when i left the board i wasn't that happy with my life and felt that i'd wasted too much time on the internet. but looking back now, we did have a lot of fun.

Wow! I am amazed that I was remembered! Nice to see you still around robandchrismom, hope you and your family are doing well. Geez, guess I really am an old timer!

Where to start on the nostalgia? Here are a few that come to mind rather easily for me.

Dawn, of course. She always cared more about this place than anyone and my hat is off to her for enduring this message board for so many years. :)
UKFeline, I think that was her name. I think she was a moderator when I first came to the message board when it was an EZBoard. I can’t remember for sure but I think it was Jeremy Ray that gave her so much hell. :o
Micki, not sure if that was her screen name but we didn’t hit it off very well in the beginning.
Liz, I think she had the screen name Power Puff or something like that. She was always nice to me and I enjoyed posting with her. :D
Fabe!! Loved that kid, he could always make me laugh! :D :D
Hoochie Momma, she was a ton of fun to post with too. :D
Linda aka Lil Bit in Ohio or something like that.
Hulk Smash, always entertaining.
Fast Fashion, Gambit, Sammy, Jaykob, Ben (VWN Viper) Joshua and Deftones ( I think that was his screen name).

I am sure there are a ton of others that will come to mind if I really think about it.

I remember when Jericho actually posted and we thought it was just someone acting like Jericho.

There were some fun times on the old Jericho message board. I haven’t visited this board for a very long time until today.

By the way, that picture posted in this thread that is at Steven’s board is just disturbing! :o  :o

Hello to all that may remember me and I apologize for those that I wasn’t able to recall while typing this post.

MG. Momma Gator. Lu Ann. Always a good friend and we had lots of good chats. I remember your "swamp" and the birthdays and graphics.

Nobody would ever understand the way it was back then. Those old memories make me smile. If you didn't know, Jeremy, Deftones (Tommy) and Jaykob all grew up and served in the military.

AND OH MY GOSH. SLASH... haha

And I forgot to acknowledge Gambit.. Mr Christopher Gower. Agent Gower.... When I shyly began posting at this board, people like Liz, Fabe and Sammy would be posting endlessly. I'd get up the courage to reply to a post and Agent Gower would show up, asking pockets to be emptied for searches. His co detective had pink handcuffs if I remember correctly? Christine would remember ;) I guess you had to be there.

I remember Chris having one of the most darling dogs I've ever seen. Always will have fond memories of him.

I think I remember someone telling me Jeremy joined the military, it may have been you Dawn that told me that. I didn't know that Def/Tommy and Jaykob also joined the military. I am so proud that some of our CJMB kids are serving our country! I don't know if they ever visit this place anymore, but I extend my gratitude and thanks to them. My husband served 11 years in the USAF, I know military members and their families give so much to our country.

Slash! :D Those were some funny times. Seriously, I was always a fan of his and still am today. No one does it better than Slash, enjoying his newly released music.

It's funny how time gets away, kids grow up, people change and life sends us in different directions. I left Louisiana in 2002 and really love living in Texas. I have worked in local government since moving to Texas, became a Texas Registered Municipal Clerk. Love government work, hate the dirty politics! You never realize just how dirty the politics are until you work with elected officials.

I would love to know more about what everyone else has been doing over the past years.

Momma, Jaykob still posts here, but mostly in the wrestling forum. Tommy was just deployed, he has a thread somewhere here in the General Forum. I haven't talked to Jeremy for a couple of years. Last time I talked to him, he was in Georgia I do believe and it seems like he was going to start a career in law enforcement.

Hey Liz! Glad to hear that you are doing ok. Congratulations on getting married.

Yes, Dawn, Texas is very different. When I go back home to Louisiana to visit everything seems so slow and old looking. Texas drivers haul butt so when I go back home and cross the state line into Louisiana the speed limit drops to like 50 mph, I feel like I am crawling! When I first moved here I moved to Houston. I hated it! After about 6 months in Houston I decided I was moving out of Houston or I was moving back to Louisiana. We moved about 45 miles northwest of Houston. The schools in our area are great and I just really love the area. I hardly ever go to Houston, too much hassle.
