6 TIME WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION

Postby 1jericoholic » Mon Feb 22, 2010 6:49 pm

Yes,Yes,Yes! I am a happy, happy lady today. I just read on Chris' Twitter that he won the elimination chamber ,but, thought he was joking. I check he wasn't. He's the 6 time champion like Lou Thez and 1 away from Race. This means Chris will headline Wrestlemania for the 2nd time. :o

RIP Eddie Guerrero (1967-2005) Chris Benoit (1967-2007) You will both be missed.

I was so glad when he won, when it came down to him and Taker in the EC I was on pins and needles waiting for HBK to rush in and kick him down. Woohoo ^^ so glad Chris is the champ and yes he'll also headline Mania too

I'm happy too that he won. My only complaint is that it will be a short reign and i hate short reigns. However at least he won his first chamber and he will be used into something meaningful for WM, something that it's not happened for every wrestlemania

Well deserved!!!! He is the only man in wrestling that can get pinned by a mid card "R-Truth" twice in 2 wks and then defeat the phenom back to back wks, all this in a matter of like 4wks. Amazing. Go Jericho Go!

Not to nitpick, but Harley Race won the gold 8 times, not 7.
"I haven't seen a performance like that since mine in '72. Dallas Stadium. 80 man battle royal. Gauntlet. Yeah. 16 ring. Went down, it was me and the Von Erichs, there was 8 of them in the ring. I had the Claw on all 7 of them."

1st of all if it wasn't for hbk then y2jackass wouldn't be champ
2nd hbk vs undertaker will be the main event of wrestlemania

At least Jericho can win the title.

Number of times HBK has been World Champion since losing it in 2002 = 0

Number of title shots HBK has had in that time = 903569084068244569745967456946460356740567967306756056373067365976

lol, people taking hitman seriously.

The way they're building Edge up so much though, I really hope it isn't a short reign for Jericho again.

I don't think Edge has returned to job to Jericho.

Now he is face, he is returned a month ago and WWE won't lose the chance to make for him the triumphal return that every injured face receive.

If we're lucky the feud will last a lot of months and the title will switch hands more than once, but since Edge has never had a long reign WWE may want him to conquer the title at WM and then retain it once or twice against Jericho, before passing to another feud.

First of all we're not talking about Jericho, at least not me. It's not my fault if you're so obsessed by me. I'm just talking about you're acting on this forum to seek attention from people.

Second, i find Punk's talking really annoying after 2 times he said the same thing... Which is not different from Jericho situation.
But still we were not talking about none of them... Just your gimmick. And i prefer to think that is a gimmick.
And for the record since you like this kind of game... I'd like to join SES... But i'm afraid i would not find a champion since Punk has not any belt

He's always been booked as a transitional champ, never a superstar.

That said, I'm not sure him losing the gold to Edge is a sure bet. The last two RR winners didn't come away with the gold at Mania. Cena may be a good bet to win the gold (especially depending how they tie Bret-Vince into that match, if they do at all) so they may have the other match be one where the champ retains the gold. Hard to say though, as that match (and heck, the other one too) could go either way.

Nah, I agree with Marty. The feud will be much better if Jericho retains, delaying the gratification of Edge winning. One reason Jericho has been booked as a transitional champion is that he tends not be involved in hot feuds as soon as he wins. This feud with Edge is hot. I really liked how the crowd was feeling it on Smackdown. It would behoove the WWE to take notice and push it past 'Mania.

Then theres the "best in the world at what he does" promos when he ain't no hbk is he?
