| I'm a rocker girl, but I listen to most anything good depending on my mood and what not. But my favorite is rock, contemporary, alternative, classic oldies especially. Rock on! |

I say get the first five Megadeth albums. If you can, try to get the original versions. The remasters are horrible. Ice Cube's first two albums. I thought they were pretty good. Everything by Nas. That dude is awesome. Check out these cats Talib Kwali and Mos Def. Black Sabbath with Dio (look, I respect th Ozzy era of Sabbath, but Sabbath with Dio is a lot heavier). And while we're on the subject of Dio, get the first three Rainbow albums. Excellent stuff. Not sure if you wanted a list, however, I figured this would be the best way to let you know.

(I'm very late answering this, lol.)
I listen to a lot of Metal and recently got back into Grunge Rock. I love The Beatles, Billy Joel, Phil Collins, Boston and U2 too.
If you want a really good Rock band to listen to. I highly recommend Muse. I think they're very good. There's not many Rock bands nowadays that impress me, but they do. First heard them at the VMAs. They remind me of U2. Matthew's vocals are almost similar to Bono's.
If you don't mind harsh vocals mixed with clean vocals. Check out Scar Symmetry and Amon Amarth. Also Edge Of Sanity (I hate that they broke up. =(). Very good Metal bands. I recommend them to anyone who appreciates decent Metal. |
