Chris Jericho Defeats Adam Page To Become First AEW World Champion

Tonight at All Out, Chris Jericho won the All Elite Wrestling World Championship. Making him a seven-time world champion, having also won the WWE Championship once, the WCW Championship twice and the World Heavyweight Championship three times.

Jericho had secured his spot in the title match by beating Kenny Omega at Double or Nothing, while his opponent “Hangman” Adam Page earned his place by winning the Casino Battle Royale on the same show, last eliminating MJF.

The hard-hitting, back and forth match all came to an end after Jericho hit his brutal Judas Effect finisher on Page to pick up the win and be crowned the inaugural AEW Champion.

Jericho will now be the champion going into AEW’s debut of their weekly episodes on TNT on October 2nd. He is still waiting for his thank you!
