Chris Brutally Attacks Hangman Page

Whilst dressed as one Dark Order’s Creeper’s Chris Jericho surprised fans at AEW’s Fight for the Fallen by brutally attacking “Hangman” Adam Page, requiring “Hangman” to receive medical attention.

After Page was successful in his match against Kip Sabian. A masked man, later to be revealed as Jericho assaulted Page after the match with kicks, punches and also a Codebreaker before revealing his identity.

Page would try to get up before a Judas Effect from Jericho, which would bust him open. With the two set to face off next month, if what have seen thus far is go by, the match to crown the first AEW World Heavyweight Champion AEW All Out will be one to remember.

Jericho beats Omega and Sets up match for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship

In a much-anticipated rematch of their classic at New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom 12, Chris Jericho got his revenge on Kenny Omega at AEW’s Double or Nothing PPV in Las Vegas.

Jericho finished Omega off with his new finishing move, the Judas Effect. By pulling off the win, Jericho will now go on to face the man who won the Casino Battle Royale earlier in the night, Adam “Hangman” Page.

The match will take place at All Out on August 31 in Illinois, and will crown the first-ever AEW World Heavyweight Champion.

Chris Signs with All Elite Wrestling

A revolution has hit professional wrestling after the launch of All Elite Wrestling in Jacksonville, Florida. AEW being led by Cody Rhodes, Matt Jackson, and Nick Jackson, as well as Tony Khan.

Just when it seemed the AEW Double or Nothing rally was over. Wrestling legend Chris Jericho would make a shock entrance and go on to confirm that he is officially joining the AEW roster.

“I’m here because I believe in doing something different, I believe in doing something new. It’s what I’ve always done my entire career. I’m a maverick. I’m an outlaw. I’m a pariah. I’m Chris Jericho, baby.”

“I’m not here just to change the world. AEW is not here just to change the world. We are going to change the whole universe.”

As soon as Chris Jericho inked his deal with All Elite Wrestling, credibility for AEW was immediately gained. Make no mistakes about it, AEW is Jericho.

Streaming For Vengeance on FITE.tv

Jericho Returns to New Japan to Attack EVIL

EVIL and Zack Sabre, Jr. were set to compete in a special challenge match at New Japan Pro Wrestling King of Pro Wrestling event. It was a match that was widely looked at as having implications as to who would be the first challenger for Chris Jericho and his IWGP Intercontinental Championship.

The show was going to plan with entrances proceeding as usual. Sabre, Jr. and Taka Michinoku would cut a promo in the ring on the King of Darkness and EVIL would then enter the arena whilst being carried on a throne by multiple masked figures. Everything seemed to be going normal until a masked member of the King of Darkness’ entourage quickly turned on EVIL as he entered the ring and began to attack. It was revealed that the masked culprit in the mask was indeed the IWGP Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho.

Jericho attacked EVIL at length before unmasking and then hitting him with the IWGP Intercontinental Championship. Jericho beat EVIL up so badly that the referee Tiger Hattori had no choice but to call the scheduled match off.

Within a day of this taking place, it was revealed that on November 3rd at Edion Arena in Osaka, EVIL will take on Chris Jericho for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship.
